Because of the pouring rain last Friday and Saturday, the mature blossoming Tung flowers had fallen down and withered on the ground. Although I genuinely knew that I wouldn't come across the terrible phenomenon if I didn't go to Miaoli resolutely and determinedly , I eventually did and felt regretful. It is so called ”As one makes one’s bad so one must lie on it.”

After arriving in Sanyi, I took a short break in the “Fu-tang Confectionary Store” where you can drink a cup of tea, inquire about some traveling information and taste all kinds of cakes exhibited on the table free of charge. It was my third time to call on the well-known store, twice in Sanyi and once in the branch store located in Tong-Xiao. According to the statement from my partner who rode a bicycle around Taiwan island, he recommended you guys to buy one kind of snacks named “copper gong fever (銅鑼燒)” only sold on vacation. I purchased some smelt-good cookies to relieve the feeling of hunger.

Then I rode a motorcycle to Museum of Wood Sculpture and discovered that it is necessity to buy ticket before entering the architecture. For me, it’s unworthy of wasting money visiting due to my lack of sense of art. And, for the sake of updating information on the internet, I comprehended that there was no more beautiful Tung flowers in the “April snow Walkway” situated nearby museum and made a decision to go to Shengsing Train Station, the most famous place in this village.

Previously, this station, the highest point of Taiwan Railway system, was such a placid sightseeing scenic spot that tourists might immerse themselves in nostalgia atmosphere. Nevertheless, it have turned out to be very clamorous recently for the holding of Hakka Tung Blossom Festival sake. The more people are attracted to go by its reputation , the noisier it will become. That’s why I felt disappointed because no matter how clear the sky was and how cool the wind blew, I was still disturbed by the racket produced from Kala Ok and immoral family. Walking along the railway and passing through the train tunnels, I was lured by the spicy girls wearing short skirts and realized that it’s a “Summer Time” belonging to the season of beach, swimming, surfing and mountain-climbing.

Ironically, the only motive power supporting me to go was the beauty of girls’ legs. Ha Ha！ Frankly speaking, I have no resistance against the pretty legs.

Undoubtedly, recording the first time of riding a long-distance bicycle had been substituted for the plan of appreciating the Tung Blossom and tranquil atmosphere since I thought that there was nothing splendid for me to have a taste in Miaoli.
After taking some interesting pictures and walking whole spot around, I set out to another scenic place named “Remains of Longteng Bridge”.

As far as the broken bridge concerned, it is magnificent and let me highly praise for the painstaking workers using bricks and steel beams to establish section by section before. However, I still think it’s not a spot worthy of spending time going to visit up to now.

Ultimately, the only place did I go to appreciate Tung flowers was “Coal-Bearer Walkway” where all I could see was a great diversity of green trees with few white petals embellished inside. Lack of impressive grand sight of fallen flowers, I had a thought of going back home at once and I really did without hesitation.

You might think that traveling by oneself can let him do what he truely want to do free from other opinions , but over and over again he must feel lonesome because no one can share the joyful atmosphere with him.

I prefer to take part in the group gathered by my own friends while traveling rather than perform DIY-trip. That’s the keynote of whole paragraph.
