It's a slogan used by Tourism Bureau to promote Taiwanese trvel. Taiwan, mistakenly regarded as Thailand by foreigner sometimes ,is really a beautiful place. However, the political scandal happened to the first family have spread broadly by media and made a bad impression on aliens. Take me for example, I lived in HK approximately three months and the news taken place in Taiwan was quoted out of context mostly. Only could I see in television was the demonstration held by Shi, Ming-De . Because of the different political standpoint, the news media belonging to Chinese Capital took Pan-Blue part entirely and reported the news unfairly . The people living here are influenced by this kind of news constantly and have a bad feelings on Taiwan. To be frank with you, one friend who is an exchange student too wanna go traveling to Taiwan in Oct. Nevertheless, he was afraid that he would be affected by the demonstration maybe. And he chose to travel in Da-Li island, not Taiwan in the end. It’s pity that he didn’t appreciate the genuine beautiful scenery located in other county in Taiwan. Taipei, a well-known city in the world , became a little notorious the other month due to the large-scale march. Taipei’s performance stands for the recognition which foreigners possess to Taiwan. So, the better expression Taipei makes, the better impression aliens will have. I’m always telling the people who want to travel in Taiwan that there’re two methods to have a taste of real landscape. One is that you can spend eight to ten days traveling all around the island and appreciate the dissimilar cultural activities in different county. Take Hua-Lian for instance, Taroko National park possesses an amazing gorge which is an unusual spectacle in Taiwan. The other is going mountain-climbing . There’re tens of thousands of creatures appealing in the remote mountain. It’s a distinguished feature that a great diversity of species. For example, Xue-Shan National Park preserves the glacial relic. Taiwan is a glamorous place in Asia absolutely.
